Azure AI Security Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for an experienced Azure AI Security Engineer to lead the design and implementation of secure Azure and Microsoft cloud solutions at enterprise scale. You will use AI‑powered tools and agentic workflows to automate security engineering tasks and help embed security throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and subject‑matter expertise for Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
• Design, implement and improve security architecture across CSPM, IAM, PAM, DLP, Microsoft Defender, SIEM/SOAR, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, container/Kubernetes, API security and secure landing zones.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, KQL and REST APIs.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools to triage findings, enrich alerts, automate incident investigation, compliance evidence collection and runbook generation.
• Define AI guardrails for data protection, prompt security, model usage and auditability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services and Azure security technologies (Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Purview, Intune).
• Strong background in cloud security, Zero Trust, IAM, CSPM, SIEM/SOAR and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Container and Kubernetes security (AKS, image scanning, runtime protection).
• AI/LLM platforms (Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio) and AI security best practices.
