Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build, automate and operate secure, scalable and cost‑efficient cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work hands‑on with Azure infrastructure, containers, DevOps pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and AI‑enabled services while collaborating closely with Cloud Architects, Platform Engineering, Security, Networking, Data, AI and Product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, identity, governance, security and platform services.
• Create reusable deployment patterns for applications, APIs, micro‑services, serverless workloads, data integrations and AI solutions.
• Operate Azure Kubernetes Service environments, including node pools, ingress, workload identity, secrets management, autoscaling and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform with multi‑environment modules and CI/CD integration.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or GitLab CI/CD and support automated testing, security scanning, artifact management and release automation.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity in scripting, IaC development and documentation.
• Implement cloud‑native services (App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, API Management, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Monitor, Application Insights).
• Support AI‑enabled solutions using Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search and Azure Machine Learning.
• Ensure secure integration using managed identities, RBAC, private endpoints, private DNS, NSGs, firewalls and API gateways.
• Establish observability with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Container Insights, dashboards, alerts and runbooks.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience designing and operating production Azure environments.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional engineering, security and product teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for complex cloud, networking and security issues.
• Experience delivering AI‑enabled cloud solutions is a plus.
