Senior SAP DRC Consultant

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior SAP DRC Consultant to partner closely with the Product Owner and drive end‑to‑end audit processes on our platform. You will translate business needs into functional specifications, shape the product roadmap, and ensure seamless audit execution.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Product Owner’s right hand: translate requirements, prioritize backlog, and influence roadmap.
• Configure and support SAP Audit Management from scratch, covering planning, scoping, execution, working papers, and issue tracking.
• Support tax audit planning and execution, aligning with compliance and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with audit, tax/compliance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
• Prepare functional documentation, user guides, and process flows.
• Lead functional and UAT testing cycles and coordinate defect resolution with technical teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and status reporting within an agile delivery team.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices for audit management.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP Audit Management, SAP FI, or SAP GRC.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Experience with tax audit planning and execution within compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and sprint processes.
• Strong English communication skills (B2+ level).
• Nice‑to‑have: experience with SAP Tax Compliance or Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), background in internal audit, tax, or accounting (CA/CPA or equivalent), and multi‑vendor delivery experience.
