Big Data DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Big Data DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms on major cloud providers. The role combines deep expertise in big‑data processing tools with strong cloud‑native DevOps practices to enable high‑performance analytics for our global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and operate big‑data solutions on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Configure and manage data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Airflow, and related pipelines.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform and automate CI/CD workflows with Jenkins, GitLab or GitHub Actions.
• Monitor system performance, optimize resource usage, and ensure cost‑effective operations.
• Enforce security and compliance standards across data platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience with big‑data technologies, especially Apache Spark or Databricks.
• Strong background in cloud services administration (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and CI/CD tooling.
• Solid scripting abilities in Python or Scala.
• Good understanding of SQL and both relational and non‑relational databases.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
