Business Analytics Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analytics Consultant to join our Data Practice team and work with clients across multiple industries, including financial services, retail, life sciences, and energy. In this client‑facing role you will translate complex business needs into actionable data strategies, facilitate workshops, and use storytelling to influence decisions at all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and measure business value and ROI for data analytics engagements.
• Support data product development by contributing to roadmaps, user stories, backlog management and adoption monitoring.
• Conduct discovery sessions and workshops with business and IT stakeholders to establish KPIs, success metrics and data solutions.
• Document current data states, identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions that maximize outcomes.
• Apply data storytelling and visualization techniques to present insights and influence senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into actionable deliverables.
• Promote data‑driven decision‑making and support analytics product adoption across client organisations.
• Contribute to business development activities such as case studies, content creation and identifying new opportunities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or related data roles.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Business Analytics or Data Analytics Consultant in a client‑facing capacity.
• Proven experience in data product development, including requirements gathering, user‑story definition, roadmap creation and adoption tracking.
• Working knowledge of data management, data governance principles and data architecture concepts.
• Strong facilitation skills for workshops, interviews and discovery sessions with both business and IT stakeholders.
