About the role

We are looking for a Data Technology Consultant to define and operationalize a robust data product framework. You will shape governance, ownership, and workflow standards that enable teams to ingest, publish, and manage data assets confidently.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a practical definition of a "data product" tailored to the organization.
• Design and implement a transparent ownership model with clear accountability.
• Set documentation, quality, and validation standards for all data products.
• Document step‑by‑step procedures for data ingestion, product creation, and secure publishing.
• Create repeatable, user‑friendly workflows for cross‑team adoption.
• Provide guidance on safe, compliant data handling while maintaining ease of use.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to onboard users.
• Establish a centralized documentation strategy and enforce standards for product descriptions and business context.
• Implement discoverability mechanisms such as searchable catalogs and metadata tagging.
• Define baseline access‑control principles and scalable data‑quality management practices.
• Design a lightweight governance cadence with regular check‑ins and feedback loops.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in data‑focused consulting or operations.
• Strong background in data governance, data management, or data product operations.
• Proven ability to define and operationalize frameworks and workflows in dynamic environments.
• Exceptional documentation and communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and adapting approaches to meet organizational objectives.
