About the role

EPAM is looking for a DevOps Systems Engineering Manager to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of complex DevOps solutions. You will work with global peers on transformation projects, shape the Data DevOps practice, and help grow and mature the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

Define and execute a long‑term development plan for the Data DevOps practice.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify solutions, best practices, and case studies.
Drive headcount growth, utilization, and attrition management.
Participate in Data & Analytics initiatives such as POCs, MVPs, training, RFPs, and discovery phases.
Design, build, and maintain production systems on cloud platforms.
Provide consulting services to teams building cloud‑based applications.

Required profile

7+ years of professional experience in DevOps and Systems Engineering.
Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Strong knowledge of Python and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Hands‑on experience managing production infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Experience with configuration‑management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible) and monitoring solutions (Zabbix, Nagios, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, GoCD) and authentication protocols (LDAP, Kerberos, SAML).
Pre‑intermediate or higher spoken English (B1+).
