Lead AI Agent Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead AI Agent Developer to design, build, and operationalize production‑grade AI agents and multi‑agent workflows. You will collaborate with architects and data teams to transform prototypes into scalable, reliable solutions that serve enterprise use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI agents and multi‑agent workflows for enterprise scenarios.
• Integrate and operationalize AI/ML models using Azure AI Foundry and orchestration frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, or Strands SDK.
• Implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), grounding, and prompt optimisation to improve response quality and reduce hallucinations.
• Connect agents to internal and external systems via REST APIs, handling authentication (OAuth2, API keys).
• Design error handling, fallback flows, and escalation paths for robust agent behaviour.
• Conduct testing, evaluation, and continuous monitoring of agent performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and release management using Azure DevOps.

Required profile

• Strong Python development skills for AI/agent solutions.
• Hands‑on experience building agents with at least one orchestration framework (Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, Strands SDK).
• Expertise in Azure AI Foundry for large‑scale agent deployment.
• Solid understanding of LLM concepts: prompt engineering, RAG, grounding, tool/function calling, and hallucination mitigation.
• Ability to collaborate with architects and data engineering teams to deliver production‑grade solutions.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
