Lead AI Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled, innovation‑driven Lead AI Engineer to spearhead the design and delivery of cutting‑edge Generative AI solutions. You will work with a dynamic team to create enterprise‑grade AI applications that generate measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical vision and architecture for scalable, robust AI systems, including multi‑agent workflows, custom search engines, and end‑to‑end pipelines.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business goals into AI roadmaps and recommend high‑impact LLM‑driven solutions.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, architectural patterns, data pipelines, prompt management, and automated evaluation.
• Mentor junior and senior developers, lead design reviews, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
• Direct R&D efforts, prototype emerging models, and standardize tools to stay at the forefront of Generative AI.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in senior AI or software engineering roles with a proven record of shipping production‑grade AI/ML solutions.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills to act as a trusted advisor for clients and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Python (expert level), including FastAPI or equivalent web frameworks.
• Core NLP concepts: semantic similarity, tokenization, NER, text classification.
• Generative AI patterns such as Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), autonomous multi‑agent networks, and tool integration.
• Hands‑on experience with major LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, Gemini) and orchestration tools like LangGraph or LlamaIndex.
• Performance, security (prompt‑injection mitigation, data privacy), and cloud‑cost optimization for AI applications.
• Rapid UI/UX prototyping using Streamlit, Gradio, or similar frameworks.
