Lead Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Driven Systems)

About the role

EPAM Kyrgyzstan is seeking a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to own the architecture and delivery of AI‑enabled, production‑grade applications. You will guide a team of engineers, shape technical standards, and embed advanced large‑language‑model capabilities into scalable products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain end‑to‑end architecture for full‑stack solutions using React, Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript.
• Lead the integration of AI‑powered features, including LLMs and agent‑based workflows.
• Define engineering standards, enforce code quality, and champion best practices.
• Build robust CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes on AWS.
• Make system design decisions around authentication, data modeling, caching and event‑driven architecture.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a collaborative culture.
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, Node.js and modern web frameworks.
• Proven track record designing distributed, scalable systems on AWS.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deploy AI‑driven systems (LLMs, AI agents, automation workflows).
