Principal Systems Analyst – IT Change Management

About the role

Join GDIT’s fast‑growing US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES‑X) program as a Principal Systems Analyst. You will ensure seamless implementation of IT services, system configurations, and change requests supporting critical intelligence information‑sharing networks.

Key responsibilities

• Process, monitor, and manage service and engineering change request tickets in ServiceNow, ensuring proper categorization and timely handling.
• Maintain high ticket quality by verifying complete technical documentation and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
• Update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and authorized product lists after reviewing design release documents.
• Track, schedule, and report on Approved Service Interruptions (ASIs) to minimize operational impact.
• Design custom dashboards and reports using Excel, Tableau, and ServiceNow for RFIs and contract deliverables.
• Conduct regular Change and Configuration Management audits to enforce compliance.
• Analyze workflows, propose improvements, and author SOPs, process maps, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Serve as liaison between engineering teams, international partners, and program leadership, and participate in Technical Review Board and Change Advisory Board meetings.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT Change Management, Configuration Management, or Systems Analysis.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and eligibility for Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) in Germany.
• ITIL V4 Foundation (or higher) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• ServiceNow (Change, Asset, CMDB modules) or equivalent ITSM tools.
• ITIL change and configuration management processes.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables), Tableau, JIRA, MS Access.
• Technical coordination and stakeholder communication.
