SAP BTP Architect

About the role

We are building enterprise‑grade SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions with strong governance, security and integration standards. As an SAP BTP Architect you will partner with stakeholders and delivery teams to design scalable, cloud‑compliant architectures, reinforce DevSecOps practices and drive AI enablement across complex landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and roll out SAP BTP services, establishing governance standards and best practices.
• Define the enterprise BTP reference architecture and operating model for platform governance.
• Architect multi‑subaccount and global account structures, tenant concepts and landscape strategies.
• Shape extension architectures that follow Clean Core principles and support event‑driven, API‑first approaches.
• Lead SAP Integration Suite architecture, API Management strategy and integration governance with reusable patterns.
• Develop AI Foundation and Generative AI integration patterns, including Joule adoption.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, define DevSecOps operating model, and set security guardrails and observability architecture.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align solutions with requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of enterprise solution and integration architecture experience.
• Proven expertise with SAP BTP services such as Integration Suite, HANA Cloud, Event Mesh, Build Work Zone, Build Apps and Build Process Automation.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio, AI Core/Launchpad, Mobile Services and connectivity services (XSUAA, Destination, Cloud Connector).
• Hands‑on experience with CAP, CDS, ABAP Cloud, RAP and development in Node.js, Java and Fiori.
• Deep understanding of Cloud Foundry, Kyma Runtime, Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
• Good grasp of security standards (OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect) and BTP authorization concepts.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1).
