SAP Cloud Platform Developer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a motivated SAP Cloud Platform Developer to join its global software engineering and IT consulting teams. You will work on cutting‑edge cloud projects, helping customers modernize their SAP landscapes while gaining exposure to a variety of international assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and specify business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Perform modeling, design, implementation and testing using SAP programming models and processes.
• Collaborate with development teams, product managers and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers on design, coding practices and test‑driven development.
• Promote best practices such as Cloud‑Native Development and Live Site First.
• Participate in Agile (Scrum) development cycles and deliver high‑quality results.

Required profile

• Strong programming background in at least one language (Java, JavaScript, ABAP/4, Node.js, C++).
• Experience with microservice architecture and cloud platforms (SAP Cloud Platform, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry).
• DevOps mindset with ownership of the deployment lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes.
• Understanding of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
