Senior ABAP/EWM Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior ABAP/EWM Engineer to design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and core logistics modules. The role works in an Agile environment, translating complex logistics requirements into robust ABAP code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP enhancements and change requests for SAP EWM.
• Implement technical solutions using ABAP Objects, BADIs, user exits, enhancement spots, IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and SAP Fiori/UI5 where applicable.
• Analyze business requirements from logistics stakeholders and produce detailed technical specifications.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, debug existing programs, and optimize performance for high‑volume warehouse transactions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and QA teams to execute unit and integration testing and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP EWM, including RF framework, task creation, inbound/outbound processing, and storage control.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and communicate effectively with functional and business partners.
