Senior AI Engineer (.NET)

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior AI Engineer with strong .NET expertise to join a high‑impact team that builds AI agents and the supporting backend and frontend applications. You will work in a remote‑first environment, taking projects from concept through production while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement backend and full‑stack applications, AI agents, and platform components.
• Develop developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and observability solutions for rapid, safe iteration.
• Apply secure SDLC and privacy‑by‑design practices to all deliverables.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
• Utilise current LLM patterns such as RAG, retrieval, routing, tool‑use and evaluation to build reliable AI systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to deliver secure, reliable, cloud‑native systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• .NET development.
• Full‑stack development with TypeScript or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, observability, and secure SDLC.
• Knowledge of AI agent patterns, RAG, and LLM integration.
• Nice‑to‑have: LangChain/LangGraph, vector/RAG systems, OpenSearch, ML training, deployment, monitoring, fine‑tuning of LLMs.
