Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work hands‑on with Azure infrastructure, containers, DevOps pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, observability, security controls, and AI‑enabled services while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including subscriptions, resource groups, networking, identity, governance, and platform services.
• Develop reusable Azure deployment patterns for applications, APIs, micro‑services, containers, serverless workloads, data integrations, and AI solutions.
• Operate Azure Kubernetes Service environments, managing node pools, ingress, workload identity, secrets, autoscaling, monitoring, and security.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform with reusable modules and multi‑environment pipelines.
• Create CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools, supporting automated builds, testing, security scanning, and release automation.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity in scripting, IaC development, and documentation.
• Implement cloud‑native services (App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, API Management, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Monitor, Application Insights).
• Support AI‑enabled solutions using Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Machine Learning, and related services.
• Ensure secure integration using managed identities, RBAC, private endpoints, NSGs, firewalls, and API gateways.
• Establish observability with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, dashboards, alerts, and runbooks.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience designing and operating Azure cloud environments.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with infrastructure automation, container orchestration, and DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to collaborate with architects, platform engineers, security, networking, data, AI, and product teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for complex cloud, networking, and security issues.
