Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead a large‑scale enterprise digital transformation. You will drive the migration and modernization of more than 20 mission‑critical Java and .NET ecosystems from on‑premises datacentres to a resilient, scalable Azure cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale robust cloud and on‑premises environments for complex migration initiatives.
• Design and integrate continuous delivery workflows using GitLab, Jenkins, and CodeDeploy to achieve zero‑downtime releases.
• Modernize virtual‑machine lifecycle management and provisioning with best‑in‑class operational practices.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules, enforcing enterprise security and governance through Security Groups and RBAC.
• Write maintainable Python and PowerShell scripts to automate operational tasks and streamline deployments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production‑grade experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps Services.
• Hands‑on experience architecting and operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Deep understanding of deployment pipelines, continuous integration, and release engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform (core) including state management, modular design, and secure provisioning.
• Solid engineering background in systems administration, networking, and DevOps culture.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.
