Senior BI Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join a multinational team driving data‑driven digital transformation across sectors such as oil & gas, finance, retail, e‑commerce, life sciences and healthcare. The role involves leading elicitation activities, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders, and independently delivering high‑quality documentation and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain dashboards, interactive charts and reports following visualization best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams on end‑to‑end data migration and modernization projects, including ETL, data extraction, transformation and loading.
• Lead workshops and meetings with clients to define and prioritize business needs.
• Translate requirements into actionable insights and ensure seamless collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform data discovery, assessment and profiling using SQL queries.
• Prepare source‑to‑target mappings, data models, data flows and related documentation.
• Define and organise backlogs with epics, features and user stories.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint reviews, daily stand‑ups, planning, refinements and retrospectives.
• Conduct user acceptance testing with customer stakeholders and produce post‑development materials.
• Monitor and guarantee the quality and reliability of deliverables.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data‑related projects (migration, transformation, governance, BI, AI).
• 3+ years handling BI, DWH and analytical project requirements, including gathering, documenting and prioritising.
• Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end data and analytics projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong experience with large datasets and data profiling using SQL.
• Deep understanding of data‑warehousing fundamentals, data modelling and data quality concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+).
• Self‑motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and lead client interactions.
