Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise to design, build and operate secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure. You will work across networking, compute, containers, databases and CI/CD pipelines, driving automation, observability and security best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain IAM roles, policies and cross‑account access following least‑privilege principles.
• Build and manage VPC topology, subnets, route tables, NAT/Internet gateways and security groups across multiple Availability Zones.
• Provision EC2 instances and Auto Scaling groups, applying cost‑optimization strategies such as Spot and On‑Demand mixes.
• Configure ALB/NLB load balancers, target groups, health checks and TLS termination.
• Deploy and operate container clusters on ECS/Fargate or EKS, handling autoscaling, version upgrades and Docker image lifecycle.
• Manage ECR repositories, S3 buckets, RDS/Aurora databases and associated security, backup and performance monitoring.
• Set up CloudWatch dashboards, alarms and log‑based alerts; manage encryption keys and secrets with KMS and Secrets Manager.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering with a strong focus on AWS.
• Proven ability to design and operate complex, production‑grade cloud environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and proactive work approach.

• AWS services: IAM, VPC, EC2, Auto Scaling, ALB/NLB, ECS/Fargate, EKS, Docker, ECR, S3, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudFront, Route 53.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation.
• CI/CD tools: GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Scripting: Bash, Python.
