Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in modern DevOps practices to design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development and operations teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and related tools.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Configure, monitor, and optimize AWS services, including EKS.
• Collaborate with developers to deploy micro‑services on Kubernetes/EKS via GitLab CI/CD.
• Lead the migration of existing Jenkins pipelines to GitLab, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, maintaining high system availability.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps and cloud technologies and apply best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
• Strong background in cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
