Senior Full Stack Python Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Full Stack Python Engineer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance web applications. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and excellent user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Python‑based web applications using FastAPI, Flask, Django or Tornado.
• Develop front‑end UI/UX components with HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript libraries.
• Maintain and evolve RESTful APIs and integrate with third‑party services.
• Optimize database schemas, queries and transactions in PostgreSQL, MongoDB or MySQL.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including serverless architectures.
• Apply best practices for code quality, security, performance and testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3+ years of production experience in full‑stack web development with Python.
• Strong understanding of Python internals, concurrency and memory management.
• Proficiency in front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and relational/NoSQL databases.
• English proficiency at B1+ level (written and spoken).
