Senior Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer to join a managed team that supports a client platform running in AWS Kubernetes production. You will lead modernization efforts, reduce technical debt, and ensure the environment is secure and observable.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Kubernetes‑based infrastructure for production web services and workers.
• Design, migrate, and optimise GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate repository, tooling, and work‑management migrations, including GitHub and JIRA integrations.
• Implement and operate Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform.
• Improve deployment automation and enable GitOps or declarative deployment practices.
• Support AWS services such as RDS PostgreSQL, S3, CloudFront, Redis, and related components.
• Harden environments by improving access control and secure configuration.
• Integrate identity and access governance initiatives with enterprise IGA platforms.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using Datadog.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, design discussions, implementation planning, and infrastructure reviews.
• Document infrastructure updates, runbooks, and handoff materials.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering.
• Strong production‑grade Kubernetes expertise and deep AWS experience.
• Hands‑on proficiency with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, RBAC, and least‑privilege principles.
• Experience supporting monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Availability for at least 4 hours overlap with US Eastern working hours.
