Senior Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer to maintain and modernize a client‑facing platform built on AWS and Kubernetes. The role focuses on improving infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, security hardening, monitoring, and identity governance integration.

Key responsibilities

• Support and optimise production‑grade Kubernetes clusters and associated AWS services.
• Design, migrate and fine‑tune GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement GitOps or declarative deployment practices and manage Terraform IaC.
• Administer AWS components such as RDS PostgreSQL, S3, CloudFront, Redis and Elasticsearch.
• Advance security hardening, RBAC, and least‑privilege configurations.
• Integrate identity governance with Symantec IGA and support access‑control initiatives.
• Enhance observability using Datadog for monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, design discussions and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE or cloud engineering.
• Strong production experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
• Hands‑on expertise with Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, RBAC and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to overlap with US Eastern hours.
