Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and operate a global, resilient cloud platform. The role combines deep Linux kernel knowledge, cloud‑native expertise, and a security‑first mindset to support large‑scale distributed systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain a global, distributed, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and product engineering teams to plan and deliver complex platform initiatives.
• Participate in architecture reviews, incident response and performance analysis to ensure system reliability.
• Manage and provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Write and maintain Kubernetes manifests and deployment configurations, including security contexts, anti‑affinity rules, network policies, autoscaling and health probes.
• Drive Production Readiness Reviews for new services covering security, high availability, performance and observability.
• Design multi‑layer workload isolation using Linux kernel primitives such as namespaces, cgroups, seccomp profiles and capabilities.
• Evaluate and operate gVisor and Firecracker for workloads requiring strong tenant isolation.
• Design and maintain Grafana dashboards and manage Prometheus and VictoriaMetrics pipelines with appropriate alert thresholds.
• Contribute to and extend the internal k6‑based load testing framework and design load scenarios with custom metrics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, SRE or platform engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems and cloud‑native architectures.
• Deep understanding of Linux internals, including namespaces, cgroups, seccomp and capabilities.
• Proven experience operating AWS infrastructure at scale.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Kubernetes, including security hardening of manifests.
• Experience designing and running load tests using tools such as k6, Gatling or Locust.
• Solid knowledge of network and cloud security best practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level.
