Senior Platform Engineer (AWS Infrastructure & Administration)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the administration, governance, and automation of our Data Lake and AWS Databricks environments. You will design and implement solutions that simplify platform operations, ensure secure data access, and support analytics and machine learning initiatives across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer AWS Databricks and Data Lake environments.
• Enforce access management using RBAC and Entra ID.
• Apply Databricks governance concepts such as Unity Catalog, access control, and data lineage.
• Develop automation scripts and REST API integrations for platform configuration and monitoring.
• Monitor platform health, resolve incidents, and maintain operational reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align standards and contribute to governance frameworks.
• Troubleshoot platform issues while improving performance and efficiency.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS services, especially AWS Databricks.
• Proven expertise in AWS access management (RBAC, Entra ID) and Databricks governance (Unity Catalog).
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Basic Python development skills for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and DevOps principles, including monitoring, observability, and incident response.
• Background in enterprise‑scale, globally distributed environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
