Senior Python Test Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Python Test Automation Engineer to join EPAM’s dynamic QA team. In this role you will design, build and maintain automated test solutions that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products across the full development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse functional requirements and create comprehensive test cases.
• Develop and extend a robust test automation framework using Python.
• Guide the establishment of automation QA processes and best practices.
• Create, maintain and execute automated test scripts for front‑end and back‑end components.
• Identify, report and track programming bugs through the CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software development and testing.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
• Fluent in English (minimum B2 level).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to devise test strategies for automation.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Version control with Git or similar systems.
• Building automated test frameworks using Robot Framework or Pytest.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments.
