Senior Security and Networking Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Security and Networking Engineer to enhance the security and reliability of our high‑traffic platforms. You will work closely with Security, DevOps, Infrastructure and Application teams to protect our network and web applications using industry‑leading edge solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate security incidents and optimise security configurations across the platform.
• Configure and manage DDoS protection, bot mitigation and web‑application firewall solutions.
• Analyse HTTP/HTTPS traffic to detect and mitigate threats.
• Maintain and improve edge security on the Akamai platform.
• Troubleshoot networking issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, CDN and TLS/SSL.
• Ensure high availability through load‑balancing and proxy configurations.
• Develop expertise in Akamai security products to support operations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in network and web‑application security.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to quickly acquire deep knowledge of the Akamai platform.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
