Test Automation Architect (JavaScript / Python)

About the role

Join EPAM’s Testing Competency Center as a Test Automation Architect. You will lead the design and implementation of modern, scalable automation solutions, focusing on JavaScript and Python ecosystems, and explore AI‑driven testing innovations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build end‑to‑end test automation architectures using JavaScript (Playwright, Cypress) and/or Python (pytest, Robot Framework).
• Define automation strategies, select frameworks, set up tooling and infrastructure.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Drive improvements in test coverage, execution speed, and quality metrics.
• Prototype AI‑powered testing features such as test generation and self‑healing.
• Support presales activities with solution design, estimations, and technical proposals.
• Mentor development and QA teams, establishing best practices and standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on test automation experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and/or Python automation tools.
• Proven ability to build automation frameworks from scratch.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices and cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2+).
