Finance Expert (International) – KR-36

About the role

We are looking for an experienced international finance expert to help improve financial performance, support business planning, develop tariff methodologies, and ensure IFRS‑based reporting for public utility companies in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and enhance financial performance of utility entities.
• Develop and implement business plans and tariff strategies.
• Prepare and review IFRS‑compliant financial statements and reports.
• Lead corporate development initiatives and advise on investment decisions.
• Collaborate with international financial institutions and local stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in finance, preferably in the utility sector.
• Proven experience on a minimum of two corporate development programmes.
• Prior work in Central Asia or the region is highly desirable.
• Experience working with IFIs and public utilities.

Required skills

• IFRS reporting.
• Financial analysis and advisory.
