Maintenance Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to own the maintenance planning process, manage spares, and generate routine and planned maintenance schedules. You will support the maintenance teams, ensure Permit‑to‑Work compliance, and help keep our assets running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead planned maintenance pre‑meetings, defining work scope, problems and resource needs.
• Plan, prioritize and schedule all required maintenance tasks, including ad‑hoc work.
• Determine resource requirements, assign tasks, and coordinate with department heads to secure necessary personnel.
• Support the maintenance team during execution, troubleshoot issues, and re‑allocate resources as needed.
• Conduct post‑mortem reviews, document lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure spares are available on time and within budget.
• Analyse SAP maintenance data to identify recurring problems and recommend schedule enhancements.
• Coordinate resource allocation for maintenance days, cleaning days and annual shutdowns.

Required profile

• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Solid understanding of maintenance processes and practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience coordinating resources across multiple departments.
• Attention to detail and ability to capture accurate maintenance data.
