Palo Alto Networks Engineer

About the role

The company is looking for a Palo Alto Networks Engineer to provide first‑line technical support and drive sales growth through expert knowledge of security solutions. You will work closely with vendors, partners, and customers to resolve complex issues and ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and interact with vendor technical support teams.
• Provide first‑line support for Palo Alto Networks customers, meeting SLA and KPI targets.
• Communicate with Palo Alto Networks engineering, partners, and internal teams.
• Study knowledge bases and material to deliver expert technical assistance.
• Obtain Palo Alto Networks Support Engineer certification.
• Set up lab environments to test hardware and software and simulate troubleshooting scenarios.
• Assist partners and customers with installation, configuration, and updates of security systems.
• Gather and manage documentation such as questionnaires, RFPs, battlecards, topology diagrams, and comparison charts.

Required skills

• Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, or Juniper security hardware.
• Knowledge of NGFW, VPN, URL filtering, IoT Security, Endpoint Protection, DNS Security, and Cloud Security technologies.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and network topology.
• Hands‑on experience in administration, testing, configuration, and support of Next‑Generation Firewalls and cloud security solutions.
• Ability to set up and use lab environments for technical testing.
• Familiarity with certifications from Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper, AWS, or Azure (preferred).
