Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our large‑scale enterprise team. The ideal candidate has solid, hands‑on experience with AWS, CI/CD pipeline construction, infrastructure automation, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery.
• Develop and operate AWS‑based solutions with a focus on automation, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Automate workflows with Bash, Python, Shell scripting and integrate source control/build tools such as Git, GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline and CodeDeploy.
• Partner with development and infrastructure teams to define best practices for deployment, monitoring, and system reliability.
• Drive platform and tooling enhancements, environment upgrades, and continuous DevOps improvements.
• Ensure AWS security best practices, including IAM role management and security‑group configuration.
• Support networking tasks across AWS and on‑premise environments and participate in troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in AWS‑focused DevOps roles.
• Proven ability to design and operate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Strong English communication skills (B2+ level).
• Willingness to contribute to tooling improvements and platform upgrades.

• CI/CD tools: Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
• Scripting/automation: Bash/Shell, Python, SQL, Perl
• Configuration management: Ansible, Puppet, Rundeck
• Linux/Unix systems administration
• Networking fundamentals for cloud and on‑premise environments
• AWS security best practices (IAM roles/policies, security groups)
• Monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Splunk, ELK Stack, Sumo Logic) – nice to have
