Senior Investment Associate – Private Equity

About the role

Our client is a multi‑billion‑dollar investment manager with a global platform that sources and manages high‑quality private market opportunities across asset classes. The Senior Investment Associate will support the evaluation, execution and monitoring of fund, co‑investment and direct private equity deals.

Key responsibilities

• Support evaluation, selection, execution and monitoring of private market investments across fund managers, co‑investments and direct investments.
• Conduct financial modelling, investment analysis and due diligence on prospective opportunities.
• Participate in meetings with investment managers, portfolio companies, co‑investors and industry specialists, documenting and analysing key findings.
• Develop and maintain research reports, market maps and investment pipelines.
• Assess investment strategies, company fundamentals, market opportunities, competitive positioning and risks.
• Prepare investment committee materials, memos, presentations and scoring frameworks.
• Monitor portfolio investments through quantitative and qualitative analysis using investment management and reporting platforms.
• Assist with portfolio reviews, performance reporting, risk analysis and stakeholder reporting requirements.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of experience in private markets, private equity, investment management or comparable institutional environments.
• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• Previous experience in investment banking, private equity or a comparable investment platform with exposure to transaction execution and portfolio oversight, focusing on US markets.
• Proven ability to evaluate investment opportunities, conduct due diligence and support recommendation processes.
