Senior Java Engineer – Order Management Systems

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to lead the design and implementation of Order Management System (OMS) capabilities. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Kyrgyzstan while collaborating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement OMS and order lifecycle management features.
• Integrate REST/API‑based solutions with eCommerce, marketplace, warehouse, fulfillment, ERP and other systems.
• Design processes for order fulfillment, inventory, returns and refunds, addressing regional business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and production issues.
• Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong Java development experience.
• Proven experience with REST APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
• Solid SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Background in order management, commerce or other complex transactional systems.
