Associate Banker

About the role

The Associate Banker supports the full project cycle – from origination and structuring to execution, implementation and monitoring – for EBRD’s investments in Kyrgyzstan. Working under the guidance of an operation leader, you will conduct due diligence, prepare project documentation and contribute to business development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in transaction structuring and execution, liaising with clients, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Lead comprehensive due‑diligence covering financial, market, integrity and EBRD policy compliance.
• Prepare internal memoranda, financial models, term sheets and presentations.
• Design and process technical cooperation assistance, ensuring alignment with investment schedules.
• Monitor project implementation, financial performance and covenant compliance, and produce regular monitoring reports.
• Support marketing and business‑development initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, CFA, ACCA or CIMA is desirable.
• Relevant experience in investment/commercial banking, private equity, asset management or financial consulting.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with experience across the full transaction life‑cycle.
• Fluent English; knowledge of the local language is an advantage.
