Auditor

About the role

We are looking for an Auditor to join our bank’s audit department. The role involves conducting financial, operational and compliance audits, preparing analytical reports and supporting continuous improvement of the bank’s activities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze overall audit results and prepare reports with recommendations for improving bank operations.
• Perform financial, operational, compliance and credit‑related audits.
• Assess the effectiveness and risk exposure of the bank’s internal control system.
• Monitor remediation of deficiencies identified in previous internal or external audits.
• Conduct special investigations of potential abuses or serious legal violations when required.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, economics or business.
• At least 2 years of economic or accounting experience in a banking or financial institution.
• Minimum 1 year of audit experience in the banking or financial sector (preferred).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collect, analyse and evaluate information for audit tasks.
• Positive references from previous employers.
• Knowledge of international auditing, internal audit and financial reporting standards is a plus.
• Proficiency in Kyrgyz, Russian and English is desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
