AWS Systems Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Systems Architect to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services. The role involves leading architecture decisions, guiding cross‑functional teams, and ensuring compliance and cost‑efficiency across enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to-end AWS solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Lead selection and integration of AWS services and third‑party tools.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational guidelines.
• Oversee automated deployment pipelines, including advanced release strategies such as blue/green and canary.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks for operational excellence.
• Develop capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to deliver Infrastructure as Code.
• Advise stakeholders on cloud adoption, migration, and integration strategies.
• Support cloud cost optimization and resource efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience architecting and deploying large‑scale systems on AWS.
• Strong background in designing secure, highly available, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Experience with large‑scale cloud migrations and enterprise production launches.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross‑functional teams.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification (Professional or Associate) or equivalent.

Required skills

• AWS core services (EC2, EKS/ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM).
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy).
• Monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Compliance, security, and governance best practices for AWS.
• AI‑powered development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and familiarity with AWS AI/ML services (Bedrock, SageMaker).
