Data & Visualization Developer – Maven (Qlik Sense)

About the role

The Data & Visualization Developer will build and maintain the A4R Basing & Logistics Analytics Data Environment (BLADE) and integrate Maven Smart Systems data using Qlik Sense. The role supports operational and tactical users across DoW ADVANA, translating business needs into actionable analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom Qlik Sense dashboards, visualizations, and reports for complex organizational requirements.
• Write and optimise expert‑level SQL queries across multi‑source datasets, including Databricks and iQuery.
• Integrate Maven Smart Systems (MSS) data schemas, maintain alignment with COP/CIP environments, and enhance MSS posture dashboards.
• Participate in Agile Kanban/SCRUM sprints, produce sprint summaries, and attend stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Provide mentorship on SQL, Qlik development, and MSS data practices, and submit BLADE requirements to the steering team.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of progressive experience in systems analysis, development, and implementation for business data sources.
• U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (or equivalent experience); Master’s degree acceptable with reduced experience.
• Experience supporting MSS, including schema alignment, interface enhancements, and COP/CIP integration.

Required skills

• Qlik Sense (development and optional certification).
• Advanced SQL query development.
• Databricks and iQuery data access/management tools.
• Business Intelligence and data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Lumira, Power BI, Business Objects.
• Familiarity with Palantir platforms (Data Engineer, Application Developer, AI Engineer, Foundry) is a plus.
