Field Service Representative – Software Support

About the role

GDIT is seeking a Field Service Representative to provide software support for mission‑critical C5ISR systems used by the Army Software & Innovation Center. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining a range of defense‑grade applications in austere, often overseas, environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and sustain C5ISR systems such as DCGS‑A, JADOCS, JBC‑P, MMC‑S, SASMO, AFATDS, and BFT‑A.
• Provide on‑site technical assistance and troubleshooting for software issues.
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure system readiness and mission success.
• Maintain documentation and report status of fielded equipment.
• Travel to Southwest Asia, Europe, Korea, or Continental US for extended periods.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance (Top Secret SCI may be required).
• AA degree (or equivalent) and 3‑5 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain medical fitness for deployment and an active U.S. passport.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain it.
• Willingness to work extended weeks in austere environments.
