Financial Analyst – Planning & Analysis

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Planning & Analysis team at a leading bank. The role focuses on analysing financial performance, preparing budgets and supporting strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis of the bank’s overall operations and individual branches.
• Develop and coordinate financial plans and budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather accurate data for budgeting.
• Prepare regular budget execution reports and analyse variance causes.
• Update budget figures in response to changing economic conditions and business needs.
• Perform unit‑economics calculations, including transfer pricing and expense allocation.
• Automate reporting processes and optimise use of information systems.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, banking or finance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking sector.
• At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Fluent or near‑fluent oral and written English.
• Confident computer user with solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Outlook Express, PowerPoint, etc.).
