Forward Deployed Engineer – AI Native Solutions

About the role

We are creating AI‑native solutions where large language models (LLMs) form the core of product value. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will lead a team to design, build, and ship end‑to‑end agentic systems that solve real client problems, working closely with subject‑matter experts and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship AI‑native systems (agents, workflows, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, custom tool calling, sandboxing, context engineering, caching, compaction).
• Build evaluation pipelines and use them to demonstrate genuine utility.
• Implement robust failure handling: retries, model fallbacks, cost limits, and human‑in‑the‑loop safeguards.
• Capture domain expertise and reusable workflows to accelerate future engagements.
• Engage early with clients to shape use cases, assess technical feasibility, and conduct discovery interviews.
• Write production‑grade Python code for integrations, APIs, data access and deployment.
• Collaborate directly with SMEs and end‑users through interviews, UAT and workflow observation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of engineering experience with a proven track record delivering production AI/LLM applications.
• Strong judgment in agent design, task‑harness fit and failure policies.
• Ability to lead client discovery, explain technical trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent English communication (C1 level) and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.

Required skills

• Python (expert level) and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Agentic frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel.
• Major LLM providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini.
• RAG expertise: vector databases, embeddings, hybrid search, re‑ranking, chunking, context management.
• Evaluation & observability tools: LangSmith, Arize Phoenix, Langfuse.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with containerization, CI/CD pipelines.
