Head of Finance

About the role

Our client, an international food and beverage company, is looking for a Head of Finance to lead the finance function for its operations in Kyrgyzstan. The role is responsible for overall financial management, ensuring compliance with local regulations and group policies while providing strategic financial guidance to support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full‑cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and treasury functions.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes and review the Financial Control Package.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and group standards and ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.
• Manage external and internal audits, liaise with tax authorities and other external stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working capital, approve major payments and manage banking relationships.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
• Develop and manage the finance team, set KPIs and ensure robust internal controls.
• Drive process improvement, automation and risk‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of finance/accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Kyrgyzstan tax legislation.
• Proven experience managing audits and financial reporting.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
