About the role

Provide telephonic interpreting services in Chin for limited‑English‑proficient callers worldwide. Work remotely, answering inbound calls on demand and ensuring clear communication across various settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective remote telephonic interpreting in Chin and English.
• Answer inbound calls promptly and deliver superior customer service.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to the professional code of conduct.
• Follow all interpretation protocols, policies and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Full fluency in both English and Chin.
• At least 1 year of professional interpreting experience (preferred).
• Relevant certifications or trainings such as CMI, CCHI, Bridging the Gap, Cross‑Cultural (preferred).
• A quiet, secure interpreting space free from external noise.

Required skills

• Proficiency with web‑based platforms, email and Microsoft Word.
