International Video Remote Interpreter

About the role

As a Video Remote Interpreter you will facilitate multilingual communication for clients using LSA Video’s web‑based VRI platform. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location with the required technical setup.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret spoken language through the web‑based VRI system for inbound client calls.
• Answer calls promptly and provide clear, professional assistance.
• Perform basic client troubleshooting and refer complex issues to management or IT.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service throughout each assignment.

Required profile

• Maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and the target language.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional phone manner with clients from diverse businesses.
• Preferred experience with Windows environments, VRI systems, and prior interpreting work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows 8.1 or higher (or Mac OS X Yosemite or later).
• PC troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience using VRI platforms.
• Setup and operation of HD webcams (e.g., Logitech C920) and USB headsets (e.g., Plantronics).
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps download/upload).
