About the role

The Head of the Correspondent Relations Department will lead the bank's correspondent banking activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and fostering strong relationships with partner banks. This senior position reports to senior management and oversees a team of specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop correspondent banking relationships with domestic and foreign banks.
• Ensure all correspondent banking operations comply with Kyrgyz legal acts, National Bank regulations, and internal policies.
• Review, prepare, and archive correspondence and transaction documents in Kyrgyz, Russian and English.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth processing of cross‑border payments.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary procedural updates.

Required profile

• Higher education in economics, finance or a related banking field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance or banking, preferably in correspondent banking.
• In‑depth knowledge of Kyrgyz legal acts and National Bank regulations governing correspondent relations.
• Proficiency in English sufficient to understand and draft banking documents.
• Excellent written and oral communication in Kyrgyz, Russian and English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of correspondent banking regulations and documentation.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
