Lead AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to drive automation, scalability, and reliability across our large‑scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to continuously improve our cloud delivery pipelines and platform tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery using Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline and CodeDeploy.
• Develop and manage infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, ensuring security, scalability and high availability.
• Automate operational workflows with Bash, Shell, Python and SQL scripting.
• Maintain source control, support build/release processes, and enforce best practices for deployment, monitoring and reliability.
• Align cloud environments with AWS security standards, managing IAM roles, policies and security groups.
• Provide networking support across AWS and on‑premises environments and troubleshoot operational incidents.
• Lead initiatives for tooling improvements, platform upgrades and broader DevOps advancements.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS DevOps practices and cloud‑based delivery systems.
• Proven track record designing and operating CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Strong background in infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of AWS security, IAM, networking and cloud services.
• Excellent scripting skills (Bash/Shell, Python) and familiarity with SQL and Perl.
• Experience with configuration management/orchestration tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Rundeck.
• Solid Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.
