Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Cloud‑Native Platform

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Principal Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate a greenfield, cloud‑native platform on AWS. The role focuses on proactive platform engineering, developer enablement, and reliability architecture, without day‑to‑day ticket handling.

Key responsibilities

• Build self‑service developer tooling, golden paths, and automated environment‑provisioning pipelines.
• Provision, harden, and manage production‑grade Amazon EKS clusters using Terraform, Karpenter, and GitOps.
• Design and implement the organization’s incident response model, on‑call escalation policies, and blameless post‑mortem processes.
• Lead enterprise‑wide Datadog implementation, defining SLOs, alerting rules, and custom metrics.
• Architect GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows supporting zero‑downtime progressive delivery (Canary, Blue/Green).
• Partner with Solution Architects to establish secure cloud network segregation (VPCs, transit gateways, IRSA, ingress security).

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in SRE, Platform Engineering, or related cloud‑native roles.
• Strong background in AWS, Amazon EKS, and production Kubernetes environments.
• Proven ability to design incident response frameworks and on‑call models.
• Experience supporting Kotlin backend and React Native mobile development teams.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
