SAP Basis Architect

About the role

We are looking for a SAP Basis Architect to design and govern secure, scalable, cloud‑ready SAP platform architectures across hybrid landscapes. The role will steer SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager and SAP BTP decisions while supporting transformation programs on Azure, AWS and GCP.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce SAP platform architecture standards and governance.
• Design SAP S/4HANA landscapes for on‑premise, private cloud and public cloud environments.
• Lead RISE with SAP and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Create high‑availability and disaster‑recovery architectures.
• Determine system sizing, performance strategies and transport management approaches.
• Collaborate on SAP security architecture and Clean Core compliance.
• Establish monitoring and observability standards using SAP Cloud ALM.
• Automate system provisioning, operations and hyperscaler deployments on Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Provide technical leadership during upgrades, migrations and conversions.

Required profile

• 9+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, SAP S/4HANA architecture and SAP NetWeaver.
• Hands‑on expertise with SAP HANA, SAP Landscape Management and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, SAP Focused Run and RISE with SAP.
• Experience with Azure, AWS and GCP hyperscaler platforms.
• Practical skills in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid understanding of SAP Identity Management, IAS/IPS, SSO, SNC, TLS/Certificates and SAP authorisation concepts.
• Background in high‑availability, disaster‑recovery and performance engineering.
