Senior AI Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, leveraging AI to accelerate application security and protect AI‑powered applications. The role partners closely with engineering teams to drive remediation and implement secure‑by‑design practices.

Key responsibilities

• Embed security into design, code, build, and release, driving shift‑left and secure‑by‑design practices.
• Perform threat modeling, architecture reviews, and secure code reviews (manual and AI‑assisted).
• Implement, configure, and operate AppSec tooling (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, secrets and IaC scanning) integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage security gates, policies, and supply‑chain security including SBOM generation and artifact signing.
• Build and maintain AI‑assisted automations for vulnerability triage, code review, threat modeling, and compliance evidence collection.
• Design and enforce security controls for AI/LLM‑powered features, including prompt‑injection defenses and model governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands‑on application security experience across the full SDLC and strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with threat modeling, secure design reviews, and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, architects, QA, and product teams.

Required skills

• Application security tooling: SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, secrets scanning, IaC scanning.
• Programming languages sufficient to read code (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go).
• CI/CD pipeline integration and security gate implementation.
• Cloud security fundamentals on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• AI/LLM integration experience: building prompts, retrieval‑augmented generation, and safe AI workflows.
