Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure and GitLab (DXOne) environments that support large‑scale migration projects. You will work remotely from anywhere in Kyrgyzstan, collaborating with global teams to deliver secure, automated cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure AWS infrastructure for re‑platforming, refactoring, and re‑architecting initiatives.
• Create and configure virtual machines following best‑practice guidelines.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Apply core AWS security best practices, including security groups and IAM roles.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure tasks using PowerShell and Python scripts.
• Support migration efforts across various transformation scenarios.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in AWS DevOps, infrastructure provisioning, and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Strong proficiency with Git, GitLab, and Jenkins for source control and automation.
• Deep knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC.
• Solid understanding of AWS security concepts, security groups, and IAM roles.
• Experience scripting in PowerShell and Python.
